4th Of July Events In Newhall

We’re just a day away from the big day! There will be number of fun events taking place in Newhall, CA, in honor of Independence Day. We’re going to cover four events happening tomorrow and throughout the holiday weekend. Community Events

1. Parade Buffet: The Press Room will be hosting a breakfast patio buffet at 7am on 24257 Main Street. There will be Bloody Mary’s, beer, wine, and Mimosa’s. A great way to start a day of patriotic celebration with your closest friends and family!
2. Nature Hike: Yoga Yoga will be hosting a nature hike on Sunday, July 7^th from 7:45am until 8:45am at Towsley Canyon Park on 24335 The Old Road. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing, and bring water, sunscreen, hats,  and sunglasses. Enjoy the natural beauty of your community with your friends and family!
3. Independence Day Classic 5K and 10K: Enjoy a 5K and 10K run and walk at the Memorial Park on 24933 Newhall Avenue on July 4^th at 7am. Pre-race pickup and registration takes place today at the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita on 24909 Newhall Avenue. All finishers will receive medals, but shirts and swag are first come, first serve to register asap! This is the 37^th year of the walk/run, and the route travels South Fork Trail.
4. Santa Clarita 4^th of July Parade: Santa Clarita’s annual Independence Day parade will take place at Old Town Newhall and this year’s theme is “The Signal Century: Celebrating Our Press Freedom.” There will be horses, floats, live music, military presentations, classic cars and trucks, and marching bands. The parade will travel down Main Street, Lyons Avenue, and Orchard Village Road, from Hart Park to 16^th Street. The parade begins at 9am.
